Dr. Simonson participates in Maryland Medicaid for covered behavioral-health services administered through Carelon Behavioral Health. Coverage depends upon eligibility, medical necessity, the service requested, and applicable authorization requirements.
Patients with Maryland Medicaid are not charged private-pay fees for services that are covered by their Medicaid benefits. Coverage remains subject to eligibility, medical necessity, authorization requirements, and the specific service requested.
If you have Maryland Medicaid and another health plan, please tell the office when scheduling so that coverage and coordination-of-benefits requirements can be reviewed.
Dr. Simonson is not in network with commercial insurance plans and does not bill them directly. Patients with other insurance may choose to use private-pay services.
Private-pay services begin with an initial diagnostic assessment. If additional psychological testing is recommended, the scope of the evaluation and an individualized fee estimate will be provided before additional testing proceeds.
Fees vary according to the services required for the individual evaluation. Applicable charges will be disclosed in advance. All fees are stated and charged in U.S. dollars (USD).
